* What is "body doubling"?
Body doubling is a productivity technique where simply working alongside another person - even virtuall - can help you focus and get more done. Research shows that the presence of others increases accountability and reduces the tendency to procrastinate, creating a subtle social pressure that boosts motivation. When you see someone else working quietly on their own tasks, your brain naturally mirrors that focus, helping you enter a state of flow more easily. Whether it’s a small task like writing an email or a bigger project like organising your home or creating content, body doubling can make work feel less daunting and more achievable. With our events we harness this effect by providing a supportive, shared workspace where women can work side by side, virtually, and leave each session having made real progress.
